A little more about us

Dellada Acres is located in the little town of Christiana, Tennessee. We are situated on 17 acres where our donkeys and dogs rule.  Our business name came from our grandmothers, Della and Ada.  We thought they would have been so happy to see us owning our own little piece of land.  The correct pronunciation is "Dell Ada". 

We purchased our land in 1999 and moved into our home in 2003.  We wanted to utilize the land and debated about what to raise.  It had to be gentle enough for our grandchildren to be around.  That’s when we decided on the miniature donkey.  They are so sweet and loving, we knew right off these cute little donkeys were it.

 In 2006 we purchased our first two donkeys and it’s been a Hee Haw experience ever since.  Go ahead and browse through our photos and see if we can meet any of your needs.  Keep in mind that donkeys are a herd animal and require a buddy.
